I really hate updating this site.  More of less everything is broken, or crooked, or looks weird, or is improper, etc. etc. etc.  Truly truly annoying.  It's tempting to just re-learn HTML all over again so I know at least everything will look....somewhat....decent.
Anyways, new song.  Actually, new remix.  Actually, two new remixes.  I visit NiGHTS again to redo the Gate to your Dreams song, coming up with something both beautiful and irritating.  The second remix was part of competition held by Andrew Aversa (a.k.a. zircon or dj zircon if you're familiar with AR).  At the end of the competition, I received honourable mentions (a.k.a. I lost), but he's hosting the mixes on his site, and I get one of his CD's, so it's all good.

Happy new etc. and all that stuff you're mom and dad and brothers and sisters and friends and loved ones and school chums and strangers on the street no doubt have told you 17 times these past week.  It's been a couple of weeks since it's release, but Wardriver (a net label hosted by ThaSauce) released it's second album of which I am once again a part of.  They released Mumbo Jumbo along with a couple other talented artist to create a nice blend of various downtempo style.

Also, I've (finally) added links to the links page.  More will be added in the future.

December 21/2007

Just before christmas comes and goes, and just before I kill off a few thousand braincell due to a new years party, I have released my third EP to date.  Entitled Absolute Music, this album is completely avantgarde and experimental with subtle and subliminal messages for everyone.  If you liked my Brainwork EP, chances are you'll hate this and start bleeding from the ears.
Fun facts: it is the longest EP I've done to date, it contains the most songs to date, and includes a reprise version of an older track.

    Till next year...

September 17/2007

I've decided to release my CBC entry from last year.  For those of you unaware, CBC had this contest to remix Richard Wanger's 'Ride of the Valkyries'.  I was one of the ten finalist, and ended up placing second.  Next time, I vow to get a myspace page and beg the shit out of people to vote for me.

I'm also releasing my Super Mario RPG mix.  A mix of unbelievable awesomeness!!!  (If only because it has the word 'breast' repeated 47 times).  I guess I should say that due to some of the language used in this song, viewer discretion is adviced.

     But this is the internet.

July 31/2007

Alex Gventsadze (a.k.a. ambient) ask me a while back to collaborate with him on a remix of his.  He asked for some super fly drum sounds unlike anything anyone has ever heard (...at least, I think that's what he meant...)

and for the record, I've still yet to play Chrono Trigger.

July 23/2007

After looking over a couple of my files, I was surprised to see I hadn't posted this remix yet.

This remix is probably what has gotten me the most amount of attention, because it's trance (and many people like trance), because it's one of the first FFX-2 remixes (as far as I know), and because it was a huge leap in my mastering + composing skill (if you ever hear anything I made before this, you'll understand).  The original remix was released in mid '04, then I made a (sloppier) 2nd version in '05 (no longer available, don't ask), and this final version in '06.

Final Fantasy X-2 (From A Dream Remix (2006 Edit))

July 18/2007

I probably should have posted this a couple of months back, but it kept slipping my mind.

Mr. Scott Porter (a.k.a. SeattleOvercoat, Overcoat, soc, D:) invited me to contribute a track to his EP Tanasinn, in which I did just that.  Little did I know he had evil plans with the track that involved lots and lots of distortion.

So I present the clean version of Life By Hanging, a rather small, dark approach to the ambient genre.

P.S., soc thought of the track title too.

June 10/2007

A rather normal day.  No special occasion or reason to do anything today, and yet, I've decided to release a free EP.  Brainwork it's called.  An interesting blend of ambient, IDM and drill'n'bass.

Now I have a reason to fill out the Discog section.

April 29/2007

ellywu2 (a.k.a Carpet Monster) created a song entitled Protonic Reversal.  He then made samples from his song and offered people the chance to remix it.

   Big mistake.

March 05/2007

First update of the new year.  This happens to be an original from probably two years ago.  What took so long you may ask?  Well, I didn't know what I was doing then, I don't know what I'm doing now, but I threw an outtro on the song anyways and gave it a title (which, bonus points to you if you know where I got it from).  It is inspired from a Mr. Oizo track (bonus points again if you know which one) and an even older song of mine.

The Important Part Of The Computer

Also, Benjamin Wendt of Nebslilypad.com has released the game "The Adventure of Bobo 2", which features Mumbo Jumbo, and Feelin' Free, as well as music from other talented musicians.  It is quite the fun puzzle game, and if you are familiar with Boulderdash or Emerald Mine, then you will love this game.  Definitely check it out.

December 01/2006

New remix.  Well, actually an old remix re-master, re-prised, and re-better sounding.  NiGHTS: Into Dreams... (Celebration Remix (2006 Edit)).  The few of you who happen to have the original copy of this mix, please delete that crap and get this instead.  You'll be glad you did =) .

On another note, I was commissioned by Trent Gamblin to do a couple of songs for a game he's creating called Stax.  A cool little block game that you can download to your phone or PC.  If you have any comments/issues with the game, I'm sure Trent would like to hear from you, and if you have any extra cash lying around, I'm sure he'd love it if you donated as well.

August 09/2006

Well, might as well make this site open to the public, even though it's been up for a couple of months now.  I'll use this space to keep you, the random user who appearently got lost on the net, informed of the new stuff I put on the site.  So, it's safe to say that the updates will be few and far between.  In the mean time, I've uploaded Mumbo Jumbo, a hip-hop/jazzish tune.  Check it out.
